Ali Smith is a professional athlete, two-time Paralympic medallist, and a dedicated leader in the world of sports finance. She serves as the Finance Manager at British Wheelchair Basketball and as the Treasurer for the Personal Best Foundation, combining her passion for sport and finance in her daily work.

In 2015, Ali's life took a dramatic turn when she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. This life-altering moment brought uncertainty about her future and presented significant challenges, including risks to her health that jeopardized her chances of making the Paris Paralympic team. Despite these obstacles, Ali's resilience and determination have remained unwavering. This period of adversity profoundly changed her perspective, motivating her to work hard while embracing and enjoying the journey.
