Huiming Chen

Huiming is a strategic and commercial oriented Chief Financial Officer in the MedTech, Pharma, and Biotech industries. She is currently the CFO for Illumina’s (NASDAQ: ILMN) Europe Region looking after $1.2B annual revenue. Illumina is the world’s biggest innovator in the genomics space and the No.1 manufacturer of DNA sequencers.

Before Illumina, Huiming spent more than a decade with GE and GE Healthcare in various finance leadership roles. Huiming has deep expertise in strategy and transformation at a global scale. She has lived and worked in more than 10 cities across 4 countries in the United States, China, UK, and Italy.

She is a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (FCMA). Huiming’s achievement was recognized by AICPA & CIMA as she was awarded “Finance Business Leader of the Year – 2024”.
