James Murnieks

James Murnieks was appointed CFO and Executive Director of Siemens UK on 1 February 2022. 

James has worked in finance for more than 25 years and has a passion for continuous improvement, people development and the value of finance and commercial teams as strategic partners within the business.

James began his career at PriceWaterhouseCoopers where he trained and worked as a financial auditor within the industry sector. He joined Siemens plc in 2004 in Internal Audit and has held several finance leadership roles in Siemens IT solutions, Siemens Financial Services and Siemens Smart Infrastructure, including CFO roles in France, Germany, and the UK.

James holds an Engineering degree from the University of Manchester, is a Fellow Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants England and Wales.
