Sarah Ghosh

Sarah Ghosh is highly respected in the finance and accounting profession globally. Her influence and thought leadership continue to be recognised, she was named as one of the Top 50 Women in Accounting (2023), and Accounting Personality of the Year (2024). Sarah has 20+ years of experience working with finance functions to improve productivity and effectiveness through digital transformation and frontier technologies.

Sarah was appointed President of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and co-chair of the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA) in 2023, representing the largest and most influential body of professional accountants globally (+700k members).  

Sarah is currently working in the UK Civil Service, leading Finance teams and supporting the UK Government’s Finance Function Strategy with a focus on driving technology adoption and sustainability.  Sarah is a trusted advisor and participates in cross-Government initiatives to influence policy in areas such as digital technology, sustainability, and regulatory compliance.
